A dieta is a sacred process that is entered into with the spirit of the plant, Tobacco (the medicine). In undertaking a dieta process, a commitment is made to connect deeply with the spirit of tobacco, opening the heart and mind. In the traditional amazonian way, a dieta is conducted in isolation. Isolation allows the opportunity to silence the outside world by removing all distractions, enabling the dieter to listen deeply to the spirit of tobacco, his messages and guidance. In the silence, master tobacco begins to open the doors of connection long forgotten. Master Tobacco opens doors to divine connection, our soul and to the natural world through rememberance. Encouraging the dieter to be present in life, to see and feel in different way, with clarity and purpose from a heart opened and grounded space. In dieta a relationship is formed between the dieter and the spirit of Tobacco. The beginning of this sacred relationship can be further nurtured and deepen after the dieta itself has been completed. The dieta experience is when we go into isolation for a certain amount of time.  We allow ourselves to go inwards with the plant ally without any distractions so that we can clear the chaos within and receive the clarity we are seeking.

TOBACCO

Tobacco has been used by indigenous groups throughout the Americas for centuries. His medicine is revered as sacred and used both medicinally and spiritually. Tobacco also known as mapacho in Peru, refers specifically to the plant species Nicotiana Rustica. In Amazonia, Tobacco is known as a Master Teacher Plant and the ‘Father of All Plants’ from which all trees and plants originated. Within Amazonia, Tobacco is believed to be the first plant gifted by God to Humanity. His medicine heals on all levels of the human being – physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. Master Tobacco brings grounding, clarity, strong protection and heart openings. Master Tobacco is a strong dreaming plant, opening the dream space and a messenger plantcarrying our prayers on his sacred smoke to the heavens.

ROLE OF A TABAQUERA/O

The Tabaquera’s primary role is to be of service to the medicine of tobacco and to the dieter. They offer application and consultation with the dieter prior to undertaking the dieta. As the dieta begins, they call to the medicine and open a sacred space with the medicine, listening to the divine intelligence of Tobacco to guide the individual process of the dieter’s journey. The spirit of tobacco works through the Tabaquera/o to bring forth specifically what the dieter may require during the process of dieta. The Tabaquera serves as a clear channel for the medicine of tobacco, guiding the dieter in understanding the process of dieta and how the medicine is communicating to the dieter, particularly in the dream space. Upon completion of the dieta, the Tabaqura/a ensures the sacred space that was opened is closely securely with deep gratitude and prayer.

TIMMIE KIMBA LARODE

Timmie Larode is a multi-dimensional healer, Tobaquera, and Medicine Woman born in Trinidad and Tobago.

As a young child, she witnessed her mom taking care of the sick people in the village, with her prayers, touch, and spiritual baths. She knew one day she wanted to serve as her mom did. However, coming to America as a teenager shifted that prayer for her until a deep call to serve occurred in 2017. In 2017 she began her part of walking the red road. Offering Shamanic meditation to her friends and the community. She later deepened her healing tools by becoming a shamanic reiki practitioner.

Much of her work is deeply rooted around healing the inner child and healing trauma within the collective, especially for her black and brown relatives. Her work comes with an infusion of Caribbean and African spirituality.

Timmie also serves as a birth doula, spiritual mentor, shamanic practitioner, Reiki practitioner, and intuitive guide.

Lisa Wozniak is a trained Tabaquera working with the medicine of Tobacco, as a Master Plant teacher, offering ceremonies and Master Plant dietas. Lisa also works within the energetic field utilizing light language sacred geometrics codes, crystalline, sound healing and primus activation techniques to restore balance bringing forth a re-connection to the divine within.

“Acupuncture for the soul” — that’s how I describe the Tobacco dieta.
This process takes place in solitude, with minimal food to support your inner work. As the dieta opens and deepens, clarity begins to emerge around the patterns and processes happening in your life. Much of the healing happens in the dream space, where the spirit of Tobacco—or a particular tree—begins to teach you through the language of your own experiences.

Tobacco offers strong protection and grounding throughout the 8-day journey, holding you as you move through your inner landscapes.

We commit to experiencing a diet (dieta) when we are ready to deepen our relationship with the plant allies or Master Teachers of the plant world. Different plants have different healing properties and can teach us different things.  Every plant can heal specific conditions and also has the ability to teach us about its own unique light.  Ultimately all plants are pointing us towards the same truth, that which we are.  These plants are teaching us about nature, natural law, ourselves, and our place in this world, and opening us to worlds beyond.  Beyond all, they are teaching us to be in harmony, to be at peace, and to live in accordance with Truth, and with Knowledge, and not book knowledge, but experiential knowledge.

As Medicine Women, Timmie Larode & Rebecca Llewellyn, we are being called to bring their two voices, medicines, and lineages together to support the healing of the sacred feminine. We were being called to step into holding space for women of all collectives & tribes as well as embody our sacred feminine to support the masculine and the healing that is taking place around the masculine.

We have created a journey for those in our closest community who are already walking with us with their hearts. THIS IS A PILGRIMAGE.T his will be a healing journey of medicines, ceremonies & sisterhood – We will be your guides for these 10 days along with our teachers who will be serving the Master Plants in Ceremonies.

Over 10 days we will be steeped into a deep ceremony of healing through plant medicine, breathwork, shamanic journeys and more.

• You’ll connect and transform with a community of like-minded women with their own unique journeys who will support, inspire, and remind you of your unique medicine.

• You will step deep into prayer and ceremony with Master Plant teachers and additional modalities.

We have curated a 10-day ceremony for deep work, deep healing, and self-actualization. This is a deep Medicine Retreat master plants and additional modalities. This carefully created journey has been based on our own work with these teachers and master plants, our experience, and the guidance of our teachers.

Integration circles are a big part of this experience and that includes the 2 online sessions before we arrive and the additional 2 online integration circles once we have returned.  For those who require, or are interested in, additional integration support, we have an Integration therapist available for additional sessions that you can purchase directly through her.

Rebecca Llewellyn

Rebecca is a multi-dimensional medicine woman. To use labels; she is a Shamanic Practitioner, a double certified Breathwork Practitioner, Mentor, Channel, and guide for those on their path of Spiritual & Personal transformation and I have been walking the path of Spirit and Service for over 15 years.

Her personal l background is rooted in the arts as a musical theatre performer which led her into a 12-year career in the corporate sector where she specialized in Client Relations. She understands people and how scary the journey can be when are living in a 9-5 world and begin to understand that we are part of a great Cosmic Web.

Rebecca holds space for her clients to clear patterns and Activates their souls and DNA to take up the space it deserves and she celebrates their milestones by witnessing them every step of the way.

She is a non-Indigenous Canadian committed to Truth & Reconciliation and I live on the traditional territories of the Erie, Neutral, Huron-Wendat, Haudenosaunee, and Mississaugas. This land is covered by the Dish with One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant and I am proud to call ‘Hamilton’ home.

• 1 || 2 x Ayahuasca Ceremonies

  We will sit with the Grandmother, a Master Teacher Plant, who guides us into our depths. She supports us with clearing and healing, bringing to the surface what is ready to be healed and witnessed

• 2 || 2 x Huachuma Ceremonies (San Pedro)

  We walk with the Grandfather medicine as he is the one the opens our hearts and expands our consciousness. This medicine is the bearer of Ancestral wisdom and the natural healer of family constellations.

  1 x ceremony will be a hike in the Andes and 1 x ceremony to honour the Sacred Feminine. 2 Extraordinary experiences to open your heart with the sacred cactus of San Pedro.

• 3 || Sweat Lodge

  Many Indigenous cultures have a sacred practice with some version of a sweat lodge. Like the gestation period in the womb, we pray in this space to release and be transformed in our prayer.

• 4 || Womb Healing

  Whether we still have our physical wombs or not, we always have the energetic space that must be honoured and cleared. We honour the sacred waters that we carry in our bodies. We honour the waters of our Mothers, our grandmothers and great-grandmothers. We honour the womb carriers of the next seven generations.

• 5 || Water Ceremony

  As women, we are the water carriers. The waters carry memory, wisdom, and knowledge from our sacred waters within our physical bodies and all bodies of waters.

  As water carriers, it is our responsibility to protect and honour all bodies of water. Together we remember her, honour her and hold her with clearing intentions for the waters of our Planet and our lineage, and the women who came before us.

• 6 || Despacho (Earth Prayer)

  To honour our Mother – Mother Earth and her, we will be sitting in deep traditional prayer and learning to connect with the traditional Despacho with an Indigenous Elder to support our Great Mother, Pacha Mama, and give thanks for her support.

  Connecting with the Mother and honouring her, knowing that she allows us to return to the womb of her belly after each and every earth walk.

• 7 || Breathwork

  To support our integration and clearing as we move deeply together, we will be offering breathwork ceremonies throughout the 10 days and our prep and integration calls.

• 8 || Integration Circles & Safe Space

  We will be holding Integration circles after every deep ceremony and prayer. These 10 days are about creating a safe container for us all to be witnessed and held. A space where we can be vulnerable and share openly.

  Our journey begins before we arrive in Peru. We will have 3 Online Zoom calls before we leave begining in September

  1) to breathe as a group and connect energetically as a group and

  2) a call to prepare for our journey together with pre-travel info.

  Post-retreat we will have another 3 scheduled group integration calls to support all of us as we land back home and our Integration Circle will close February 2025.

• 9 || Farm to Table Organic Meals

  Beautifully curated menus to accommodate our ceremony needs. All local and organic, meals are prepared in-house with a local culinary team. Most meals are vegetarian. all diets are welcomed. Delicious works of art to nourish our souls while on retreat.

  For those who would like additional support post ceremonies and the deep work we are doing. This is also available for those who want to deepen in meditation and prayer while on retreat.
